2nd Position- Muskan Mehta
Forlorn and an estranged soul,
Shattered like trustless glass.
Lost in the mystifying woods,
In the quest of empathetic trees.
Abandoned by the world,
who painted everlasting prejudice
on the canvas of her mind.
Seeked solace under the virginal white glimmer.
Mirage of thoughts owed her an eternal rest.
Thought of herself as an empty space,
Absolutely barren, denuded of hues.
STORY - PRIDE
1st Position- Unnati Hirwani
I hugged my legs even closer to my chest, trying to become smaller and get enfolded in this darkness.
Leaning against this open field's railing, I get startled when I hear a weird noise.Glancing towards the source of disturbance, I curse myself, rather colorfully if I may add.
2nd Position- Akull Kumar
He stumbled into the thrift store with his friend, nervous, fidgety, tugging at the sleeves of his hoodie. He
went straight for the trial room, took off his bag, and locked himself in, and turned to look at himself in
the mirror. He looked into his own eyes which seemed to ask “are you sure?”
3rd Position- Pranav Arora
An instance I encountered in grade 7 th .I can recount every bit
clearly because it changed my outlook forever. This incident
highlighted the cruelty prevalent in our society. Despite the
enactment of section 377 our society has time and again
failed to accept the reality of homosexuals.
